The other day we went to celebrate my friend’s birthday at a special gourmet restaurant on a beautiful dock, nearby the beach. The air was fresh and clean, and the wind caused my hair flirting lightly with my back. There was one problem though, that appears every time when I arrive to the beach area: humidity. Usually, before I go out, my hair is soft, fragrant and light due to the hair washing and fanning.Therefore, there is nothing more annoying and upsetting then humid air that’s ruining the hairdo and causing the hair to be humid and sticky.



Apparently, it has to do with the molecular structure of the hair, but instead of “digging” the scientific reasons I decided to give you some good tips how to avoid this situation. There are ways to protect the hair and keep its texture glossy instead of frizzy.

It was at one summery morning, back in 1995. I planned going out to the mall to meet my friend, but one look at the mirror was enough: my hair looked like hell. For the first time of my life, it refused to look normal, no matter what I did. I brushed it, wet it, collected it to a ponytail, let it down, put a hair gel on it, put a hair clips, but nothing helped. My hair was so stubborn and just refused to stay calm. It just stared at me from the mirror, laughing at me, and of course my tears didn’t help. I ended up going to the mall with a big bizarre hat, looks like my friends’ mom.

Since then, I have a complicated relationship with my hair.

The other day, I was getting ready for a date with a guy I’ve waited to date with for ages. Surprisingly, my hair didn’t betray me. It was cooperative and showed understanding. The guy, though, didn’t call after our forth date, and later on I saw him with a curly haired girl. Damn.

So even though sometimes I’m cool with it, sometimes I just wish I had a hair like Alyona Osmanova’s.

It’s smooth and silky, and I even dyed my hair to the exact same color, but its texture will never be like Alyona’s.
