Caribbean food, Vogue magazine and Kate Bush…

I love Kate!
I had an early morning appointment at Mount Pleasant Studios, Farringdon. It was one of those straight in and out castings; where you’re left with absolutely no clue either way,as to whether or not they want you!
Anyway, after that I went to visit my friend Maxi. We lay about reading fashion mags that made us ‘oooh’ and ‘ahhh’ at their seriously inspiring images! - and I spontaneously decided to set up a subscription to Vogue…..not so sure it was necessary but hey, I get a free sea mineral eye cream with it - woohoo!
Anyway, after that I went to visit my friend Maxi. Lunch time came around and I decided to take Maxi to my FAVOURITE Caribbean restaurant in London…‘Jerk City’ !
Oh my lord, it’s just sooooo good. I had a mutton roti and some guiness punch. yummy yum yum.

So it was a pretty quiet day for me really…. spent the evening listening to Kate Bush (legend) and watching American reality shows on MTV….lame
Busy day tomorrow though, so i better get some beauty sleep. Night.x
I love Kate!ps..on my way back to my flat I spotted the headlines about Fidel Castro. Today will go down in history….
London Fashion Week is over :(

So I’m resting and recouping after a hectic but fantastic week of shows, parties, shows and more parties!
Fashion Week kicked off with a bang last Sunday 10th Feb, with a demure couture-inspired collection from Paul Costelloe - I loved the gorgeous silks and sophisticated 2-pieces!

Monday saw my favourite show of the week… I always have a good time with the SuperSuper Magazine crew and this season’s vibrant show was no exception! Crazy make-up, gorgeous designs by Emma Bell and that distinct party vibe! Loved it!!

There were so many fantastic after parties throughout the week and I definitely visited too many of them! ;0
FTV put on a fantastic night at the exclusive London club, Movida on Wednesday. After a gorgeous lingerie show, with hot models and lovely designs by Bizou Boutique, it was time to drink the lethal Russian vodka! - uh oh…. I daren’t put any pictures up! - carnage!

Then on Thursday, while picking up some Chanel goodies at Selfridges, I got scouted to become an in-store model for Abercrombie & Fitch on Saville Row! Apparently, I can just go in whenever I don’t have castings/bookings and stand around with other models, saying ‘hi, how are you’ to customers and get paid for it….I start next week - so i’ll keep you updated.
Well - that’s my first FTV blog done. I’ll be updating at least every other day, so make sure you keep coming back for more!
I’m off to do some food shopping now - even models have to eat!
