Today marks not just the end of 2009 but the end of the decade as well. We have seen trends come and go, designs getting fiercer and more fashionista. We are growing much better, fashion-savvy wise and fashion-centric wise. I’m pretty sure that aside from your typical New Year’s Resolutions, you still have Resolutions solely for what you want to change or update in your thinking of dressing up, may it be in the corporate setting, at clubs, at parties, casual days or what not… I personally, am burdened because being a lover of clothes, must update what I have in my closet. Gone are the dull and out of style clothes and in with the new and catchy.
My Fashionista New Year’s Resolutions are:
1) More Short Sleeved Polos - my friend influenced me to dress up more and be playful when it comes to clothes.
2) More Shirts from Topman - I’ve said it before and I’m saying it again, I’m hooked-up with Topman tees. I…gotta….purchase….more….credit limit near…AAARRRGGGHHH!!!
3) More Slim Jeans - with the trend of minimalism, I assume I would be interested in skinny jeans but I’ve tried them thrice and it really doesn’t fit me in the most comfortable of ways, second best thing, go slim when you can’t go skinny.
4) More Pants and Slacks - it’s a very good investment since I’ve never been accustomed to wearing things like these.
5) Accessorize - bowties and slim neckties are next on my list. Watches and silver bracelets will have to wait.
And so, with all these in mind, I have to be up on my feet to scourge, scavenge, search, look and scan business establishments that can offer the best bang for buck when it comes to how I can update my wardrobe line-up.
Happy New Year to All Of Us!!!
