I know guys it might seem that this statement has been on your minds for the nth time and people are starting to yawn but let me just say that don’t you think we should be thinking of other colors during the holidays other than the usual fierce red and dark green?I mean,I know it’s been in the tradition since ancient times but what the heck,it’s still fashion-centric,color combination is fashion-centric,and please,we’ve been tinkering with colors ever since crayola gave us the 8 piece crayon box.Now I know Christmas colors need not be in pastel nor in neon they should be bold and dark (well at least in my perspective).hmmmm….what do you think is the perfect color combination this Christmas?

I know it’s still 3 weeks away from the most awaited gift-giving day of all year but I just want to ask you guys personally what you want to have for Christmas.I don’t care what it is just as long as it can satisfy your designer drooling…I for one want a high-cut Paul Smith shoe which costs 115 pounds (8,000 Phpesos). It’s so darn cool and uber hip.I swear,when I saw it online at the Paul Smith store,I nearly dropped my lower jaw. I want to give my mom a Michael Kors handbag or an Escada purse (sorry Balenciaga,you’re too expensive). Well,what do you think guys?What’s on your wishlist?

The recently concluded Victoria’s Secret Fashion show had fashionistas,celebrities and lingerie fetishists drop their jaw open…Adriana Lima started the show with what seems to be one of the most expensive bra/lingerie ever costing a whopping 3million dollars!Man,can you believe that?I sure can’t.hehehe…anyway my babe friends are also there especially my ultra hot crushness of all time Goddess Alessandra Ambrosio who I just recently heard that she gave birth 2 months before the show,Heidi Klum as ever is still there and hope she does more and more on the runway,and finally my other lesser demi-goddess crush Miranda Kerr also is present to grace the runway.Now,I myself haven’t seen the show yet since it’s still to be aired on TV or youtube but will someone tell me where the heck is Gisele Bundchen again?Where is this girl hiding?I’m gonna claw her out of the cave she’s hiding!she’s like one of the main reasons why I watch that show (OK,so I love all of them…) but for pete’s sake she hasn’t been making buzz lately in the fashion world.Is it because she’s already too rich to work?I hope not.I totally miss her.Now excuse me, I’m gonna track her down ASAP using my GPS.

Months before I already told you guys that come pay day I would be buying my very first pair of skinny jeans and after that there would be a sequence of buying another pair and another and another.Well, apparently as I was in a mall that day I chanced upon a very nice pair of skinny jeans,very slick,very cool,very nice color and so I tried it out thinking that I was slim enough to try it out and then happily whistle away as I purchase this cool pair of jeans…NOT!Unforutnately it dawned on my head after trying it out that it doesn’t have a good fit and that it just doesn’t feel comfortable to wear.Darn It!I was really cursing myself that time because all the while that I was drooling over a pair and now here’s the perfect chance to buy one then this problem occurs.Maybe,just maybe,I still need a little more slimming to do and other that skinny jeans aren’t really for me…Oh well,I’m gonna try topman’s twisted skinny jeans one of these days.Anyway,what I bought after my jean hunting and searching is a pair of slim cut jeans,they’re not skinny but still cool and good enough to wear…that will do pig,that will do…

Last weekend as my usual routine of mall going/window shopping/apparel drooling/resto eating/walking and reflecting in life goes to action I suddenly stopped in front of a renovated store that looks familiar even though I barely pass through that area then it suddenly occurred that this store I’m seeing that’s being renovated was a former Paul Smith Store!Can you believe it!I surely can’t!I’m exaggerating because I haven’t been in the store and I haven’t bought anything even a pair of shoes and now it’s being renovated for a calorie-laden,carb-laden,heart-stopping,artery-clogging,stroke-inducing donut store.Alas,I am merely a citizen of meager wage earner and for now,I have no executive power to stop the operation and just go on with our lives without a Paul Smith store here in the PI…oh well,at least there still is burberry (not the prorsum),Prada,Louis Vuitton,Gucci,Balenciaga,Escada,Marc Jacobs,Michael Kors,Salvatore Ferragamo among others that are still here to tempt people into buying their luxurious apparel and accessories.

Most people I know love Nike,heck they’re addicted to them especially with the baller types of shoes.Some people I know love Adidas and their thick soled shoes that are durable and yet stylish.But I’m the only person I know that loves,obssesses,patronizes,worships,hails and prays PUMA!I can’ even tell you how much I love them.Here in the Philippines we don’t have any special edition puma’s like Alexander McQ’s or Mihara’s so I just look them up in the net and drool over them (sigh).Anyway,that doesn’t mean I don’t like the Puma shoes here,on the contrary,I have a lot of Puma shoe crushes,I don’t really know but I feel that the feline and me really have a strong connection,a connection that the Philippine peso and me don’t have much (sigh again).Anyway,I am not here to rant but to adore the brand that is Puma! All in all,I can say that I have like 5 Puma shoe crushes as of now and I hope it will reduce because it is painstaking for my eye just to look at them although I hope that the Puma stores here would import special edition shoes.There are a lot.Aside from that I have noticed that they are also joining the bandwagon for the hi-cut type of shoes like Converse.This is not a bad thing because I LIKE the Converse Hi-cut shoes (see my comparison?) and they go great with skinny jeans and plaid or even plain casual shorts.There is only one problem,here in the PI,it only comes in a purple color and a white one.Man!Two colors to choose from?Define out of option and No for an answer.I’m still waiting for the new collection to arrive here so right now tell me not to drool…as in NOW!

OK, I have been neglecting this blog for some time and I really feel bad not being able to blog first because I love to blog and i feel that it’s one of my passions that keeps me sane and second is because our internet connection was disconnected due to unpaid bills.Wahahaha! Anyway,what caught my eye recently was the assortment of darn good-looking man bags and FYI I’m not talking about laptop bags,messenger bags nor backpacks…as I was saying,these man bags are the next big thing after dogs being man’s bestfriend and since dogs can’t be brought in offices and other private establishments then man bags would be their better  and cleaner replacement.Stylish is all I can say when it comes to those handheld bags and more so if they come in black or brown,it just exudes confidence and coolness that girls might even scream at the bag and not the person holding it.If you’re looking for those bags then I suggest you go down to your nearest Memo store or Oxygen(local stores).Remember,not only girls can carry handbags,come on,stop thriving from the past and get on with the now and the future…we are equal hence,same opportunities to showcase accessories that tell us who we are…

From straight cut to flair to elephant pants to skinny jeans,the world seems to adore the ideal culture so much that the fashion industry adapted the ’slim is in’ look. Tight-fitting apparels are so in nowadays and not just jeans but also shirts,shorts, and vests.Every fashionista you know is well aware of it and might have a closet which consists of a fitted shirt/s,tight jeans,tight undies/knickers, and fitted shorts. Forutnately I have all of those except for the skinny jeans but not for long my friends!!!Wahahaha! You see, I will be working and work comes with experience and experience comes with pay and pay means I can purchase a pair of skinny jeans! I am so brilliant! Anyways,before we go out of the topic again because of my oh-so over-excited hypothalamus,I just want to add more do’s when it comes to wearing skinny jeans.here goes:

I remembered a couple of years ago when a famous actress sported a pair of jeans so tight that it was a no-brainer that it was immediately called Skinny jeans. Now I know I should have blogged about these pair of fad jeans weeks ago but I’m still jealous and bitter from all the people who can wear and flaunt it because I still don’t have a single pair even though most of the population here in the PI  have been wearing and advertising it for more than a year already!Grrr…but what the heck,I’m still blogging about ‘Le Skinny Jeans’. Now, I have observed that men are already following pace from women when it comes to the fashion competition and it is getting fiercer and tougher. The competition between the masculine and feminine specie is definitely worth waiting and watching for. Well, since I’m of the masculine/male specie/kind/kingdom/phylum then I will be bias and mention that we or they (because I don’t have any skinny jeans yet,huhu) are definitely winning. I may not have a pair but I will list down the do’s of wearing the skinny jeans for those who are still wondering what to do with them:
