Warning…

People of the fashion world I must warn you that what you’re about to see is one of the most horrific and terrible fashion style and trend(for me at least) you have ever seen. You know the other day where I posted an article about colors?apparently this guy who I saw the other day while getting a requirement for my work read my blog and took it so seriously that he decided to wear a multi-colored extra large shirt coupled with a black hip pants and some office shoes…I tell you he is the worst-dressed person I have seen this entire month of September, heck,I could even say for the entire 2008 but let’s not get too hasty about it.hehe…here’s a picture of him (I took it in stealth mode so I just captured his back part). You be the judge. My eyes got so watery after seeing him…huhuhu…

Plaids are so last season…
September 20th, 2008 by paolo
I know they’re so ancient in the fashion world but hey cut us some slack because we live in a third world country so fashion here is a bit late but still very acceptable.I love plaids!Especially plaid shorts!I have 3 pairs of plaid shorts and I wear them so much they’re kinda giving up on me already but hey,I’ll just buy another pair sometime this year! It’s great they’ve invented the design because I really think it’s hip and cool not in a rapper/hip-hop point of view but from a yuppie living in a third world country.Plus I have plaid shorts not pants because I know it wouldn’t fit me and it’s not my type AND it wouldn’t be right to wear it here because ours is a tropical country (Re:sun, sand, humidity,UV rays, skin cancer, etc.) so I guess it’s OK to just wear shorts here.Ok,Ok I used to think plaids are so outdated maybe because I see normal people wearing them as an everyday home/comfy wear but give a person the right shirt and a pair of sandals and slippers then it would definitely be casual and comfy wear.I like wearing them with a nice sneakers and a simple shirt because I think the plaids are enough for the design so I don’t think it would be good to wear something like an over-designed shirt and a plaid shorts,I have yet to see a person do this.I would dare to but someone must pay me big time!wahahaha!!!

Fierce!
September 16th, 2008 by paolo
This my friends is what i’m telling you about. The color just emphasized everything from the body shape to the body gesture.I must admit, this friend of mine is already very very slim(grr…I’m so jealous but just a little) and he what he wore really emphasized his body contour plus a dash of posing ingenuity POOF! fierce picture. The shirt is a medium sized black long sleeved shirt with white details on the sleeves and under the shirt, pants are a straight cut washed out/faded black and shoes are dominant white with a detail of green to add pizzazz.
Now we all know that black is slimming but hey, black is still black.I always admire people who aren’t afraid to experiment a little to show not just their fashiondea(fashion+idea…duh).

Fashion Sense…
September 12th, 2008 by paolo
Well a lot can be said about fashion and its industry and we all know how cut throat and nasty we could be in criticizing others for their ahem, personal ‘fashion sense’.Personally I am not perfect although I wish I am and zap those fashion victims into wearing white shirts and blue jumpsuits FOREVER but I am only human.hehe…The Philippines I think is one of the most fashionably victimized country simply because like 60 percent of people here don’t really care about how they look and what they wear (huwaaat?!).Seriously, you would see people wearing torn and uber washed/faded/alienated shirts and don’t give a damn about it.And what about those who like wearing bright clothes that don’t even match. Our country really is falling into pieces but fortunately they have me and several other guys and girls that could at least postpone the hearing and persecution of the fashion police.More posts to come!
